Hannah McKechnie is a Scottish-born actress, based in New York. Traveling from her home in Edinburgh to other countries from a young age helped her develop a strong ear for dialects. She has a BFA in Acting from Boston University. She was trained classically at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and has studied the German language in Berlin. She spent a year touring the United States with Olney Theatre Center's National Players as Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird. She has appeared on network television in CBS's Blue Bloods as Len Cariou's co-star. She also actively works as a voice-over artist, dialect coach and print model.
In July, Hannah wrapped shooting for Crown Vic , Alec Baldwin's upcoming independent feature film, in which she played Mandy, a feisty LA club girl alongside Josh Hopkins and David Krumholtz. The film will be released in 2019.
Hannah spent August with the Cape Playhouse, playing Yvette, the french maid, in their production of Clue, in Cape Cod, MA, directed by Hunter Foster.
